IT GLOBALSECURE, INC. RELEASES SECUREPLAY NETWORK
ANTI-CHEATING STATE ENGINE SOFTWARE 3.0 FOR PlayStation®2
WASHINGTON, September 13, 2005 --
IT GlobalSecure, Inc., provider of advanced game
security products and game engineering services, today
announced that it has released its SecurePlay(TM)
Software Version 3.0 for “PlayStation[s1] (R)2”
of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. SecurePlay is built
from the ground up to stop many forms of cheating for
online games. SecurePlay’s design assumes that hackers
have fully compromised all of the game and SecurePlay
code and it still can protect against cheating. The
forthcoming SecurePlay Keeper suite takes a similar
approach to fighting piracy.
"We are
pleased to provide developers for ‘PlayStation(R)2’ with
an easy-to-use, interoperable network anti-cheating
solution," according to Cheryl Campbell, President of IT
GlobalSecure. “SecurePlay is available and fully
interoperable on five platforms including Windows and
Linux PCs, Java, J2ME, and now ‘PlayStation(R)2’.”
IT
GlobalSecure has priced SecurePlay to provide
independent and individual developers with the same
tools that it provides major commercial developers.
SecurePlay can be easily integrated into game engines
and with other game development tools. SecurePlay lets
game programmers focus on creating great games, not
trying to protect them. SecurePlay libraries support
interoperable communications for Internet, wireless,
Bluetooth, interactive TV, and other environments.
SecurePlay is available in Flash, Java, J2ME, and C++
for PCs, consoles, handhelds, handsets and set top
devices.
“The online gaming market is growing rapidly and,
unfortunately, so are security problems”, states Steven
Davis, CEO of IT GlobalSecure, "SecurePlay gives game
developers an easy way to stop many security problems
before they start."
SecurePlay is available in several versions to support
game security for casual and advanced games including
board games, traditional games, bingo, casino games, and
lotteries plus role-playing games (RPG), real-time
strategy (RTS) games, first person shooters (FPS), and
massively multi-player games. Licensing is available
under a variety of terms, ideal for the individual game
developer, game studio, publishers, and hosting
services.
IT GlobalSecure has developed elegant security
technologies and products for clients since 2000. IT
GlobalSecure holds US and worldwide patents for
SecurePlay fair play protocols and additional patents
pending. SecurePlay simplifies multiplayer game
programming and protects network games against cheating.
